Whenever a renter makes a reservation and stores their items, hosts are automatically protected by our Host Guarantee.

Identity Verification Measures

Neighbor helps keep users safe through our secure identity, phone, and email verification process for hosts.

Secure, Automatic Payments

If the renter is late or stops paying, hosts receive guaranteed payouts for up to 60 days. Also, our PCI-compliant payment processor has the most stringent certification in the industry.

Property Protection Plans

Renters may choose a Property Protection Plan to ensure their items are covered in case of damage.

Always use Neighbor’s mobile app or website to message your host or renter. Communicating through Neighbor’s platform ensures our support representatives can effectively support our users. Neighbor can only help resolve issues that occur within the platform.

Set expectations

In your listing or reservation, discuss your needs. Topics include frequency of access, restrictions, vacations, or anything else you think is important.

Always Pay on Neighbor

Never offer or accept payment outside the platform. Neighbor's automatic payments platform is built to provide safe transactions and prevent disputes.
