"Raquel is very gracious and accommodating. The location is convenient and the space has good access and is very large. Soil is dry sand however, and will not support a heavy boat and trailer. Great spot for an empty trailer."

"Good parking in front lawn, nice safe neighborhood, nice people. They wouldn’t let me use an electricity outlet. Shouldn’t offer boat parking because boat batteries lose a lot of power and need to recharge, otherwise you can’t use them. It’s not the same as parking a car."

Choosing Boat Storage

When considering a storage space for a boat or other watercraft in Miami Beach, Florida, there are a few factors to consider.

  • Location: Look for a space close to the water so you can easily access it when you're ready to make use of your boat or watercraft.
  • Size: Make sure the storage space is large enough to accommodate your boat or watercraft.
  • Accessibility: Choose a space that is easily accessible and allows for easy loading and unloading.
  • Security: Look for a space that provides security measures such as surveillance cameras, locks, and visibility.
  • Protection: Ensure the space offers protection from the elements such as sun, wind, and rain.

Climate Considerations

When looking to rent storage for a boat or other watercraft in Miami Beach, it is important to consider the climate and weather conditions in the city at different times of year. During peak summer months, the average high temperature is around 92°F with humidity levels of up to 80%. In peak winter, the average low temperature is around 63°F, with occasional cold fronts bringing temperatures as low as 40°F.

To protect your watercraft, it is recommended to use a protective cover, such as one made of breathable fabric, to reduce the effects of humidity and temperature changes. Additionally, consider using a storage unit that is designed to protect your boat or other watercraft from UV exposure, wind and harsh weather conditions.
