First of all I have to say that they are just very kind people. They were very helpful and always courteous when I needed to go to the storage. The storage itself is secure and very roomy it's nice to be able to sort through your things without being cramped. The price is great for how much space you get!!! I always felt like my stuff was secure there never had to worry. I would recommend this storage over any of the ones I've had in the past. If I'm ever back in that area I will definitely put my stuff there again.

I needed a last minute spot to park my vehicle for one month. Adrian got back to me and I was able to park my vehicle on his property within 24 hrs. Many lots, garages and storage spaces were simply out of my price range. At Adrian's lot, there was plenty of space for my vehicle at a price I could afford! He always responded quickly and was very kind overall.

  • Tips and Tricks for RV Storage

Adapting to tight spaces is just part of the experience of RV travel! Before you get going, here are some RV storage tips:

  • Hooks can help: Hooks may be used to hang towels, cooking items, cleaning supplies, and bathroom bags. You'll deal with less mess by hanging things up.
  • Bins to the rescue: Wire or plastic bins and shelves can store clothing, food, shoes, and other miscellaneous items that don't have a home.
  • Collapsibility is key: Swapping out some of your RV items to ones that can collapse will save tons of space. These could be tea kettles, bowls, trash cans, and more. These can be bought at your nearby Camping World of Bakersfield, located at 5500 Wible Rd, Bakersfield, or The Home Depot, located at 4001 Ming Ave, Bakersfield.
  • RV Storage Near Bakersfield: Frequently Asked Questions

  • For full-time RV storage, it's a good practice to start your engine monthly.

Follow these steps if you need to store your RV long-term: Defrost the fridge and wash the inside, fix any cracks or holes to prevent rust, wash the outside and put on an RV cover, and start and run the engine every month.

Winter temps in Bakersfield typically don't get below freezing, so winterizing your RV may not be necessary. However, winter humidity levels in Bakersfield can get quite high, so it's a safe bet to rent climate-controlled RV storage to protect your vehicle. This type of RV storage in Bakersfield will help maintain ideal humidity levels so mold and mildew don't develop in your RV.

Bakersfield temps can soar during the summer, so it's essential to shelter your RV from the heat. Open air vents slightly to increase ventilation; clean and wax the outside; empty water tanks; empty, wipe down, and unplug the fridge; and use an RV cover as well as tire and window covers.

Bakersfield also experiences super low humidity levels in the summer, so it's a good idea to rent indoor, climate-controlled RV storage to keep your vehicle's wood finishes from cracking.

We highly suggest having insurance. Your renter's or homeowner's insurance policy most likely covers potential damage or theft while your RV is in storage.
