Yes! Neighbor lists top-rated storage facilities, #1 parking operators, and local hosts with a total of over 600,000 customer reviews. Every Neighbor host is ID-verified and backed by up to $1M in liability coverage. For extra protection, renters can also opt into a Property Protection Plan at checkout. While renters aren’t required to obtain an insurance policy before booking, we highly recommend adding on a Property Protection Plan for added peace of mind. We also encourage renters to use their best judgment when booking and visiting a space. Read reviews, check host ratings, and look for spaces that are gated, security camera-monitored, and located in lower-crime Harvard neighborhoods. In Harvard, 4 locations are monitored by security cameras.

Monthly rates will depend on the size of the space, the amenities offered (e.g., EV charging, assigned parking, security camera monitoring, on-site staff, gated entry), and the level of coverage: outdoor, covered, or fully enclosed/indoor. Monthly parking near Harvard starts at $67, with prices averaging around $103. On Neighbor, you never have to worry about expensive long-term contracts or hidden fees. Filter spaces in Harvard by clicking on the “Price” tab at the top of the page and toggling the bar to your desired price maximum. Price increases are rare, but you will be given advanced notice if your host decides to increase their monthly rate.

It depends, but rest assured that you’ll always have a spot, regardless of the host you rent from! While most of our hosts will assign a designated parking space to each renter, for in/out parking, select parking operators will have renters park in whichever spot is available on that day/time.

Expect to receive parking instructions via email after your reservation request is submitted and approved.

Most hosts will specify whether EV charging is offered in the “About this space” section of the listing. If EV charging isn't specifically mentioned in the listing description, it’s still possible this is an on-site amenity. You are more likely to find EV charging in enclosed parking garages and commercial parking.

To confirm that EV charging is offered on-site, it never hurts to check with your host. Just use Neighbor’s in-platform messaging system: Neighbor Messages.

It depends on the space’s height restrictions and the host’s policy on oversized vehicles!

Many commercial parking garages impose restrictions on oversized fleet vehicles. If that is the case, these hosts will specify in the “vehicle restrictions” section of the listing that they don’t allow oversized vehicles, so be sure to review the listing description carefully before submitting a reservation request.

Even if oversized vehicles aren’t specifically prohibited, certain height restrictions may prevent you from parking an oversized vehicle, like a delivery van, in a commercial parking garage or private residential garage. If the garage’s height restrictions aren’t posted in the “About this space” section of the listing, you can contact your host via our in-platform messaging system for more information.

On Neighbor, payment is hassle-free! Just create a Neighbor account and connect your preferred payment method (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover cards are all accepted). Once you select a space and submit a reservation request, a preauthorization hold will be placed on the funds in your account until the reservation is approved. Once approved, your card will be charged immediately. Thereafter, you’ll be charged on the first day of each successive monthly rental period. Most reservations are renewed on the same day each month (E.g., if a reservation started on the fifth day of the month, you’ll be charged on the fifth day of each successive month). Once you’ve removed your items and cancelled online, automatic payments will stop.

When you find the right space, click "Reserve space" to submit your request. You'll be prompted to enter what you're storing, a preferred start date, and your payment information.

Hosts have 24 hours to respond to your request. If you rent an instant-book space, your reservation will automatically be approved. Otherwise, you’ll be notified via email, SMS, and push notifications (if you have the Neighbor app) when a host responds to your pending request. Currently, 1 locations in Harvard are instant-book.

Yes! To make sure you get the space you want, we recommend submitting a reservation request ASAP. However, we understand that sometimes you need a few more details before you’re ready to place a reservation. In that case, reach out to your host via Neighbor Messages — a safe, secure platform designed specifically for hosts and renters to communicate.

Once your reservation is approved, you’ll receive all the details needed for a successful move-in via email, including the exact listing address. Note that some commercial locations will automatically display the listing address prior to approval.

From there, all that’s left to do is to schedule a move-in time. You can refer to your host’s move-in calendar (if available) or reach out to the host at your convenience via Neighbor’s in-platform messaging system: Neighbor Messages. Here, you can set a date and time that works for your schedule.

Many Neighbor hosts grant renters 24/7 access–the ultimate convenience for parkers who work early in the morning or late into the night. To view an individual host’s access policy, click on the desired listing and scroll down to the “Access” section.

If you rent a space in a parking garage or parking lot with an access control system, your host will issue you a key code or key fob. That way, you can come and go at your convenience.

Our hosts are known for going above and beyond for their renters. If you need to pick up or drop off your vehicle at a specific time of day (or at the last minute), most hosts will be willing to accommodate these requests.
