"We parked our RV and truck on Orlando's land for several months. He was friendly and accommodating when we arrived, and so easy to work with. He responded the day of to our request, which was helpful given travel plans. He was flexible with where to park on his land, and we felt very welcome. The neighborhood is very calm, and there is a gas station a few minutes down the road which can be helpful if you are storing an RV. Overall, we had a positive first experience with Neighbor and if/when we should need storage in the area, we would certainly work with Orlando again."

"This was the perfect spot for my semi-long term storage need. Broderick is a good man and an excellent host: Polite to a fault, family-oriented, storage area fully prepared and organized, always reasonably quick to respond to communications, and when our schedules didn't synch he made arrangements to have a family member grant me access, as he wasn't going to be available personally. Overall a very good experience. Highly recommended. Thank you Broderick."

Choosing an RV Storage Unit

Choosing the right storage space for your RV, motorhome, trailer or camper can be quite the undertaking. Here are a few key considerations when looking for a residential storage space for your vehicle in Sierra Vista, AZ:

  • Accessibility: Look for a unit that is easy to access and has wide driveways and pathways for maneuvering your vehicle.
  • Space: Make sure the unit is large enough to comfortably fit your RV, motorhome, trailer or camper and that it provides enough space for unlocking and opening compartments.
  • Security: Check that the storage unit has a secure lock and good lighting to deter theft and keep the area well-lit.
  • Weather Concerns: Consider the elements, such as whether the unit is shaded and the ground is flat enough to avoid pooling water, to keep your vehicle in good condition.
  • Location: Look for convenience and easy access to highways and other amenities.

Climate Considerations

When looking to rent storage for a motorhome, camper or trailer in Sierra Vista, Arizona, there are several important factors to consider. Depending on the time of year, it may be helpful to consider the climate and weather of the area as it can have an impact on the condition of the vehicle.

In summer, temperatures can reach an average high of 93°F, while in winter, temperatures can drop to an average low of 29°F. Understanding these temperature extremes can help determine the kind of protection that may be necessary to protect the vehicle from exposure to extreme weather conditions.

When selecting a storage unit, it's important to look for one that is well insulated, secure and equipped with climate control if available. Having a unit that has air-conditioning, dehumidifiers, and other climate-control features can help ensure that the vehicle is kept in optimal condition year-round. Additionally, it's recommended to look for units that have 24-hour security, as this can help protect the vehicle from theft or vandalism.
