Policies will vary from host to host. However, certain items are prohibited platform-wide (as stated on Neighbor’s Terms of Service agreement), including explosives, fuel, hazardous or flammable materials, pesticides or other toxic chemicals, waste of any kid, firearms or ammunition, drugs or illegal substances, stolen goods or other contraband, perishable food items, any item that emits fumes or a strong odor, boats not stored properly on a trailer, and any other items specifically identified by the host as expressly prohibited.

Once approved, your card will be charged immediately. Thereafter, you’ll be charged on the first day of each successive monthly rental period. Most reservations are renewed on the same day each month (E.g., if a reservation started on the fifth day of the month, you’ll be charged on the fifth day of each successive month). Once you’ve removed your items and cancelled online, automatic payments will stop.

Once your reservation is approved, you’ll receive all the details needed for a successful move-in via email, including the exact listing address. Note that some commercial locations will automatically display the listing address prior to approval.

From there, all that’s left to do is to schedule a move-in time. You can refer to your host’s move-in calendar (if available) or reach out to the host at your convenience via Neighbor’s in-platform messaging system: Neighbor Messages. Here, you can set a date and time that works for your schedule.
